When you join with God in prayer, you not only extend God's healing hand and the truth to others, but also receive it yourself in that moment. Our church encourages prayer groups. We offer a place for everyone to come together in prayer everyday by 9:00pm.

During every Thursday we meet in small groups in home. We build relationships with the non-Christian families in our neighbourhood. In the process of loving them and praying for them we also learn to love those who are either unbelievers or people that have strayed off the Christian walk.

The Sunday school is conducted concurrently during the time of Sunday church service. We conduct various Christian Bible Activities to help keep the kids interested as they learn and grow spiritually.

Every fifth Sunday of the month is observed as the Youth’s Sunday where the whole service is led by the youth. And Bilingual Service (English - Tamil) is held every second and fourth Sunday of the month. This helps the youths and also other church members to involve much more efficiently in the church and expose their God given talents in singing, leading the praise and worship, sharing the word of God, etc.

The Church doesn’t limit with the service schedule, and it’s also made use of the government holidays to cheer-up and enhance the spiritual knowledge of the congregation by conducting special 2/3 days convention, one day special meetings. Yearly Gospel Meetings are also conducted.

A church retreat is an opportunity to bring individuals to the Lord, have a lot of fun, and form a community of friendships among youth groups, kids and elders. We conduct retreats to help people bond together as friends. And many events, sports and games are conducted as they are also good opportunities to bring the people deeper into a relationship with the Lord. We provide a venue to teach new things in a safe environment.

In order to support the congregation to grow deeper in knowledge and understanding of God and the Bible we conduct various seminars.

• Seminar on Leadership

The Church concentrates on the second-line leadership and conducts various training for the leaders of the church in order to do the ministry more effectively. Special training on Children ministry is conducted which raises many youths to do the children ministry.

We believe people produce people, Christians produce Christians and churches should produce churches. Now is the time to plant more and better churches! Now is the time for existing churches to multiply and reap the harvest fields around them. Church planting is proven to be the most effective form of evangelism. Therefore, we have planted a church at Kumuzhi which is at the outskirts of Chennai. There’s always an intimate relationship between mother church & daughter church planters.

Can teenagers change the world? We believe the answer is yes!

We believe youth are chosen by God to make an extreme difference in their world and are essential to the health of the church.

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity" (1 Timothy 4:12).

Amazing Love of Emmanuel (ALOE) Youth Fellowship was started in the year 2006 to be a catalyst in raising up a new generation of Christ-centred leaders who IMPACT this planet.

Angels Club is a part of Church of Sinai to reach the children. Children are more beloved to God. Jesus Christ our Lord says in the book of Luke 18:19, “Let the children come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Angel’s club is not just child ministry, its ultimate aim is Child Evangelism. The word of God sowed in those hearts at the time of their innocence will have them lay a foundation for a great Christian life ahead. Angel’s Club is conducted four days a week in four different locations. Children from different educational and family back ground gather here.

  Angel’s Club just doesn’t stop with Bible stories, we teach them cleanliness, games, social awareness and General Knowledge. This is done so that they will reflect the changes in all the places they go that is from school even in their homes. People notice a lot about our external behaviour; hence it is of great importance that we cultivate a good character in this young age. Our prayers are that these children could go out and glow the radiance of our Lord Jesus Christ.

• Activities
  

  Attracting a child and making him listen our teaching for even fifteen minutes is too hard. One must understand their mind to make that happen. And the biggest challenge that lies ahead is that we must sustain these children in our fellowship. For this great task we have put forth many activities.

  • Vacation Bible School (VBS)
  All these programs not just entertain them but also teach them moral and Biblical values. These activities have become a great instrument in child evangelism. In teaching and working with these kids we too learn a lot of lessons. We pray that these kids would go into the society and become great vessels for God.

Capstone Academy of Global Peace:
Bible alone is our source of faith and we strive to practice it. As our understanding of the Bible increases, the relationship with God deepens. In order to enrich the biblical knowledge Capstone Academy of Global Peace (CAGP) was established in the year 2016. It is a Bible School devoted to serious study of the biblical texts, rooted in vibrant prayer and connected to an encouraging community of fellow learners. Ultimately, it’s an education whose centre is Jesus Christ, God’s Word in the flesh. Its amended approach to biblical education uniquely equips students to face the complexities of ministry in our rapidly changing world. CAGP would always strive towards combining the heart and soul, culture and behaviour, language and people in imputing the essence of the Word with genuine response to God’s sovereign claim over all creation.
